Creation hypotheses test how God interacts with His creation
Creation is the supernatural cause of the universe, the sequentially more complex ordering of a pre-existent body of water called “the deep” which obeys all physical laws. Creation wasn’t from nothing, the doctrine of Ex Nihilo isn’t Biblical. The popular science paradigm (SciPop) is built on the premise that there isn’t a supernatural cause, which is why SciPop is wrong.– Creation, definition
The word creation doesn’t mean “from nothing.” The general sense that it’s meant to convey is the forming or fashioning of one thing to make another. It inherently obeys the first law of thermodynamics.
Formed: יֹצֵ֨ר – yatsar
- I. fut. to be straightened, to be distressed, anxious; and he was distressed.
- II. fut.
- (a) to form, fashion, make; part. maker, creator, potter;
- (b) to devise, meditate, against any one.
- Niph. to be formed, created, Is. 43:10.
- Pu. id. Ps. 139:16.
- Hoph. id. Is 54:17
The creation of which we’re part has a reason, a purpose and these combine to fashion the Earth, from preexistent precursors, so that it’s form fits it’s function.
The reason for creation is the manifestation of sentient life with free will.– The Reason for Creation
The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.– The Purpose of Creation
The function of the Earth has two parts: a) to provide a place for sentient beings to make a choice between light or darkness, good or evil; b) to serve as the collection point for all those who choose darkness and evil.– The Function of the Earth
We can investigate some of the ways that God interacts with His creation.
